Dolphins trade Matt Moore to Raiders for a 2018 second-round pick

A pair of trades that saw the Dolphins trade veteran defensive tackle Matt Moore and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for the second- and third-round picks were announced Tuesday.

Moore, 32, is set to become an unrestricted free agent on March 13.

Moore’s move is the latest sign of an emerging star in Miami.

Miami signed cornerback Brent Grimes to a five-year, $52 million deal in January, and cornerback Antonio Cromartie is set for a four-year deal worth $28 million.

The Dolphins signed former Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor last month, and he’s slated to earn $15 million this season.
